The idea may sound comical, but believe it or not, there are lots of people who have this very concern. Even more unbelievable? They’re not completely off-base…just ask supermodel Heidi Klum.

“My tip is, don’t be too thin!”, said the world famous model and icon. “It is always better to have a little meat on your bones. When you are just muscle, you end up being gaunt in the face, and that makes you look older by five or 10 years.”

Klum has in the past spoken out against invasive cosmetic procedures like Botox to help eliminate wrinkles. Perhaps this natural approach is her big secret?

It is an interesting concept, that’s for sure. Could it actually be aesthetically beneficial to keep a little weight on? But that betrays everything the media has been beating into our subconscious all these years!

It is a welcome notion, as far as we’re concerned. Especially since weight becomes more difficult to control as we get older, it’s nice to get a little relief in the form of the slowing of the onset of wrinkles. It’s also a form of revenge for those women who are so much better at keeping weight off than some of us (insert maniacal laughter).

But before you run out and buy a palette of Cookies n’ Cream ice cream, keep in mind that the difference a few pounds makes is probably not going to be anything drastic. But it’s a nice idea, isn’t it?
