putting on sunscreen

Summer is officially here. Many of you may be eager to get out to the beach or lay out by the pool and work on your summer tan. We’re not going to tell you that you can’t get that bronze skin tone you’re after, but we are going to beat a dead horse and remind you to use some sunscreen!

Prolonged exposure to the sun over long periods of time is one of the biggest wrinkle causing culprits out there. If you’re over the age of 30, this is probably more of a concern to you because you may have started noticing wrinkles develop. If you’re younger, you might be less concerned. However, now is the time for you to take preventative measures to keeping your skin looking youthful!

If you haven’t done so already, check out our Summer Skin Care Tips guide for more information on how to properly care for your skin this summer.

Even if you aren’t the type that is easily sunburned, it is still imperative that you use some sort of sunscreen to prevent serious damage being done to your skin by the sun’s UV rays. It’s not hard to rub on a little bit of sunscreen on your way out. They even sell convenient spray bottles of sunscreen to minimize the time and effort it takes to protect yourself. We strongly urge you to take advantage of it.
