We often talk about how no matter what revolutionary new product you use, the best long-term solution for healthy, youthful skin is preventative maintenance. In other words, if you take proper care of your skin, you may not even need any anti-aging products in the future. Or at the very least you’ll need very little.

So, instead of lecturing you with general lessons like “take better care of your skin”, we’re going to get into the nitty-gritty here with some specifics!

Step One: Exercise
Hey, you asked! But in all seriousness, a regular exercise routine is one of the absolute best ways to keep yourself looking and FEELING younger. We’re not saying you need to become a marathon runner or a professional kick boxer, but you might want to look into activities such as yoga or pilates. Don’t think of exercise as simply an anti-aging strategy, think of it as a way to actually extend and improve the quality of your life!

Step Two: Edit Your Diet
I know, this is starting to sound like a weight loss guide. But truth be told, many of the same principles that lead to weight loss will also promote anti-aging. Your diet is a huge factor that should never be neglected. Like they say, you are what you eat. The best “anti-aging foods”? Fruits and vegetables, hands down. The worst? Well, just about every type of fast-food under the sun.

Step Three: Moisturize!
If grapes never dried out, we wouldn’t have raisins. Keeping your skin properly moisturized is imperative in slowing down the aging process. If you can’t afford a high-end moisturizer, it’s better that you use a discount brand from the drug store rather than none at all, however there is most certainly a difference between the two.

Well, there you have it. A brief yet incredibly informative (thank you, thank you) mini-guide on how to fight the aging process and maintain that healthy youthful glow of yours for a long, long time.

No need to thank me. However, I am always accepting gift baskets. Preferably those which contain chocolate and other assorted treats.
